Right eye I open I reach for my cell

It’s 7:25 oh hell, oh hell

Opening both eyes my heart is heavy

Feet hitting the ground lord help me get ready

I make my way to the shower

My mind full of yesterday’s events

Will I meet my deadline or need an extension

Off with a rush I have to hustle my butt

Why am I always running behind?

Will I get there or be late like last time

Traffic moving slow, the horn I blow

Fool, please get out of my lane

My oh my it looks like rain

Into the parking lot I speed

At my seat I glance at the clock
